Check24 is Germany's largest comparison portal. Compared to a normal price-comparison feed, Check24's official furniture/home integration expects a lot of extra product data (materials, dimensions, manufacturer details, delivery information, …) and enforces a strict set of required fields. Feedyio fills most of the standard data automatically from Shopify, but a few required fields have no equivalent in Shopify and must be provided by you – either as a fixed default value or, better, through conditions.
Feed name inside Feedyio: Check24
Market: Germany
Format: CSV
Open the Shopify App Store and install Feedyio – Product Feeds.
Open the app from your Shopify admin.
In Feedyio click Create feed.
Search for Check24 and select it.
Choose the language and currency (Germany / EUR).
Save. Feedyio generates the CSV in the exact column format Check24 expects.
The following required columns are mapped automatically from your Shopify products – you don't need to do anything for them:
Check24 column
Filled automatically from
Variant barcode (see EAN)
Product / variant ID

Product description
Product URL
Product vendor
Mapped Google product category
Shopify price (formatted as
Inventory quantity
Product images (main image + up to 9 more)
Variant weight
ℹ The product title is pre-set to
{vendor} {productTitle} {variantTitle}because Check24 expects the brand and variant to be part of the name. You can change this under Title mapping if needed.
Check24 will reject any item without a valid EAN. The EAN is taken from the variant barcode in Shopify.
Where to set it in Shopify:
Open the product → scroll to Variants (or the single variant section).
Open the variant → field Barcode (ISBN, UPC, GTIN, etc.).
Enter the barcode. Check24 expects an EAN / GTIN14 (14 digits); a valid EAN‑13 is accepted as well.
⚠ Products (or variants) without a barcode will have an empty
EAN (GTIN14)column and will not be accepted by Check24. Fill in the barcode on every variant before sharing the feed.
Check24 requires several fields that don't exist in Shopify (material, dimensions, manufacturer address, delivery mode, …). In Feedyio these fields are already added to the feed as pre-filled attributes – the column will always be present in the CSV, so the feed structure stays valid. Some come with a sensible default value, others are empty until you fill them.
Because these values differ from product to product (a sofa's dimensions are not the same as a lamp's), the recommended way to fill them is with conditions, not one global value.
In the feed open the Attributes tab.
Find the attribute you want to set (e.g. Material, Manufacturer city, Height).
You can either:
Set one value for all products – type the value directly (good for fields that are the same for your whole catalog, e.g. Manufacturer country = Deutschland), or
Add conditions – click Add condition and map the value based on product tag, type, vendor, collection or a metafield. Example: IF Product type = "Ecksofa" THEN size_height = "80 cm".
Repeat for every required field below.
ℹ Fields marked as required are already included in the export with their default value. That keeps the CSV valid, but an empty default is not a real value – Check24 still needs the actual data, so please replace empty defaults with your real values or conditions.
These fields are required by Check24 and are pre-added to the feed. The Default column shows what Feedyio exports if you don't change anything.

💡 Manufacturer details are usually the same for your whole catalog (or per vendor). Set them once as a single value, or add one condition per vendor. They are required for GPSR compliance in the EU.
💡 Dimensions, color and material change per product. Use conditions based on product type, tags or a metafield so each product gets the correct value.
Check24 supports many optional attributes that improve how your products are shown and filtered. They are already available in the Attributes tab – fill only the ones relevant to your catalog:
Product features: series, model, size_diameter, size_lying_surface, size_seat_height/width/depth, shape, style, frame_material, material_surface, material_wood_quality, density, temper, weight_capacity, Ausrichtung (sofa orientation).
Media: Youtube Link, 3D-Bild GLB, 3D-Bild USDZ, assembly_instructions (PDF).
Function & features (ja / nein): mit_schlaffunktion, ausziehbar, mit_rollen, abschliessbar, mit_beleuchtung, push_to_open, softclose, wetterfest, waschbar, and many more, plus counts like numbers_doors, numbers_drawers, numbers_shelf.
Textiles & upholstery: care_instructions, filling, filling_quantity, removable_cover, suitable_for_allergic, …
Documentation & certificates: energy_efficiency_category, EPREL_registration_number, certificate, product_data_sheet, CE documents.
Shipping & delivery: delivery_condition, shipping_no_of_items, shipping_size_pack1, shipping_weight_in_kg, two_men_handling, automatic_return_label.
ℹ Boolean-style attributes expect the German values
jaornein. Energy efficiency uses A–G (never old ratings likeA++).
By default the feed uses the current Shopify store price. Under the Price settings you can add a flat amount or a percentage if you want the Check24 price to differ from your store price.
Under Exclude products you can filter out products by tag, collection, product type, price, stock status or gift cards, so only the relevant catalog is sent to Check24.
Click Save.
Open the generated feed URL and check that:
every row has a value in EAN (GTIN14),
the required fields from Step 4 are no longer empty,
price is formatted with a comma (e.g. 39,55).
Copy the feed URL from Feedyio.
Provide it to your Check24 contact / partner portal as your product feed.
ℹ After you change attributes or conditions, the feed is regenerated. It can take a little while before the updated feed is fully rebuilt.
My products are rejected because of a missing EAN. Every variant needs a barcode in Shopify. See EAN (GTIN14).
A required column is empty in the feed. The column exists (default value) but you haven't provided data yet. Open Attributes and set a value or condition for that field – see Step 4.
The manufacturer fields are the same for all products – do I set them per product? No. Set them once as a single value (or one condition per vendor). They are required for GPSR and are usually identical for your whole catalog.
Dimensions differ per product – how do I fill them efficiently? Use conditions based on product type, tags or a metafield, so each product group gets the correct size_height, size_width, size_depth, etc.
Which values do the ja/nein fields expect? Exactly ja or nein (German). Empty means "not specified".
