Open the Feedyio app in your Shopify admin.
Go to Feeds → Create New Feed.
Select the Pinterest predefined template from the list.
Confirm and generate your feed.
Feedyio automatically structures the feed according to Pinterest’s product data specification.
Copy the feed URL once the feed is generated.
Before connecting it to Pinterest, you can adjust your feed in Feedyio:
Settings section → control global options like currency, language, or availability.
Additional Fields section → add or override any field in the feed.
You can use different data sources:
Shopify value (e.g., title, description, price)
Custom value (your own static text or number)
Metafield
Variant option
Metaobject
This flexibility helps you tailor the feed to Pinterest’s requirements or your marketing needs.
Go to Pinterest Business Hub.
Open your Business account (or create one if needed).
Navigate to Ads → Catalogs.
Click Create Catalog.
Enter the required details (catalog name, default currency, etc.).
In the Catalogs section, select Data source → Use a feed URL.
Paste the feed URL you copied from Feedyio.
(Optional) Add authentication credentials if your feed is password-protected.
Choose your update frequency (recommended: daily or hourly).
Save and start the import.
Pinterest supports CSV file formats. Feedyio automatically provides a valid feed URL matching Pinterest’s specification.
After the feed is imported, Pinterest will begin processing your products:
Check the Diagnostics tab for any errors or warnings.
Confirm that product titles, images, and prices appear correctly.
Feedyio automatically keeps your feed URL live.
Pinterest will re-fetch the feed according to your schedule.
Any updates to product data in Shopify (price, stock, description) will automatically appear in your feed on the next sync.
